    charming courtyard
    beautiful atmosphere
    room misrepresentation

We had a great stay! The courtyard atmosphere was charming with beautiful flowers around the fountain. The history of the hotel was fascinating, though the room wasn’t as luxurious as the photos suggested. I'd definitely return!

    exceptional service
    spacious bathroom
    charming courtyard
    minor maintenance
    limited dining options

I recently stayed at Malaga Inn for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The room was well-appointed with a King Bed Historic Suite and featured a spacious bathroom and seating area. The staff, particularly Barbara at the front desk, provided exceptional service, assisting with my check-in process and offering helpful recommendations for local dining. Additionally, the charming courtyard provided a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, which was convenient and delicious.

I encountered some minor issues with room maintenance.

    warm welcome
    charming environment

The lady at the front desk was super friendly, made us feel at home right away! Loved the old-school charm of the room and the comfy beds – we crashed hard after a long drive.

It wasn't exactly a steal, but worth it.

    old-world charm
    inviting courtyard
    cleanliness issues
    dated furnishings

The old-world charm captivates, especially in the inviting courtyard. However, cleanliness issues and dated furnishings detracted from the experience. Staff was friendly, and the location is great but could benefit from more attention to maintenance.

    friendly staff
    charming atmosphere
    local attractions
    poor lighting

Our group had a fantastic time staying here! The atmosphere was charming, making it an ideal spot for visiting local attractions like the Gulf of Mexico and the Dauphin Street Beer Festival. The staff were super friendly, often going out of their way to help us feel at home.

However, we ran into issues with the lighting in our room, which made getting ready a bit tricky.

We had an enjoyable family trip, exploring the nearby nature trails at the wildlife refuge. It was great to unwind after a day filled with outdoor adventures. The room was clean and cozy, making it a perfect spot for us and our dog.

My kids wished for a fridge in the room.

Lovely character and great location. The courtyard with blooming jasmine is just divine!

The tub was a surprise fountain of brown water—who knew it could double as a sewage attraction?

    historic charm
    great atmosphere

charming inn near parks and vibrant nightlife in mobile

During my stay, I absolutely loved the beautiful historic charm of the inn and how it was just a less than 5-minute walk to the stunning Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where the architecture took my breath away. I also enjoyed leisurely strolls to nearby restaurants that offered delicious food and great atmospheres.
